Another cliffhanger has left fans in a frenzy. The popular K-drama ‘Lovely Runner’ has brought fans another twisty angle on the current track. In the latest episode, Im Sol is confused after Sun Jae confesses his feelings. She is unable to react or act after hearing the drunk-night intervention. Also, a new love story is evolving between Sol’s best friend and her brother.
Fates are destined to happen, but love finds its way back. THE ONE: Lovely Runner Episode 6 Review and Synopsis
In the previous episode we saw, Im Sol heard the conversation between Sun Jae and her. She is unable to grasp the fact that an idol like him, would fall for her. Before this, viewers are taken back to the present, where Sun Jae confessed his feelings to an RJ. Sol wondered, listening to him, who that lucky girl would have been whom Sun Jae fell for.
Back in 2008, Im Sol breaks up with Tae Sung and warns him to stay away from Sol. As she reaches the bus stop and Sun Jae asks to break up with Tae, she flushes with endless thoughts and leaves without a word. As she reaches for home, she wonders why he would say something to her. The scene shifts to Tae Sung and his buddy talking over Sol’s behavior, and Tae Sung is hurt.
Sun Jae listens to their conversation and is happy that Sol broke up with him. He meets Sol outside a convenience store and thinks she is drinking in pain. Sol’s brother, Im Geum, thinks that Sun Jae is messing with his baby sister and gives him a flying kick, knocking him unconscious. At home, Sol nurses him and starts to have feelings for him. They both have lock eyes but are interrupted by Im Geum.
Later, the entire town celebrates the wonderful game of the baseball players, who are on the verge of winning. A man calls Sol’s house to return her phone. Her grandma gave him their address. Sol promises to help Sun Jae with his grades and also with CSAT. They even spent some quality time in the study room watching the live game. After a while, Sun Jae again confesses his feelings, and before Sol can say anything, they rush to the hospital.
Tae Sung informs Sun Jae and Sol that Sol’s mother is in the hospital for something. She underwent the surgery and is now out of danger. Sol confronts Tae to change his life and do something better. She even tells Sun Jae not to have anything for her. She confronts him, saying that he mistook her feelings, for love.
Towards the end, Sun Jae once again tries to reason with Sol, thinking that her mother is unwell and she needs space. He calls her to meet. Sol is now waiting for the accident to happen but leaves to meet Sun Jae when things take a drastic turn.
Lovely Runner Episode 7: Preview
As Sun Jae is waiting for Sol, Sol meets her fate and is abducted by the serial killer. Sun Jae sees Sol’s yellow umbrella and gets to know that she is kidnapped. The upcoming episode will bring another twist to the story. Will Sun Jae save her again? Will Sol again go crippled? Who is changing whose fate?
