Folks!! The Disney+ crime-detective series ‘Chief Detective 1958’ has garnered a huge fan following. The first four episodes of the crime comedy K-drama are hiking heights, which is unfathomably interesting.

The first two episodes showcased the collaboration between the tag team of Yeong-Han, Kim Sang-Sun, Jo Gyeong-Hwan, and Seo Ho-Jeong and their chief Yu Dae-Cheon, harnessing every bit of mystery, spiraling around Jongnam and the connecting places.

Bank Robbery takes Jongnam into a heist chase: Chief Detective 1958 Episode 3 Ending Explained

Previously in Chief Detective 1958, gave an exciting kick-start to the series. Another exciting day at the station, is when viewers are introduced to another exciting adventure hinting at another mystery mischief happening soon. The robbers rob small-scale banks and some middle operational banks but now are tragetting big ones. They leave without a trace; making it impossible for legal action. The Furious Four ends up solving the mystery of massive bank robberies. With each piece coming together, they extract their next move, Goryeo Bank.

The bank holds the largest sums of money, including the salaries of police officers. With the help of homeless beggars, they track down their every move. Even after senior officer Choi Dal-Sik dispenses with them for bogus tip; he commands them to give tight security to a political elite. They somehow divert him and his followers and execute the plan with precision.

Towards the end, we see a mysterious woman setting up a bigger deal for child trafficking and something more. Episode 4 is Coming Through!!

Infanticide and Criminal Brain-Washing: Chief Detective 1958 Episode 4 Ending Explained

Next up, we see several children from local areas being kidnapped. One of the victim’s mothers (the mother of a probably 6-month-old infant) entered the Jongnam police station for her child. As the team takes up her plea, they encounter a woman who has laid low because of her previous deed.

This woman happens to be Sang-sun, who worked as a speaker for a Japanese insider troop (accused of brainwashing young minds). When Yeong-Han and San-Sung question her, she becomes overtly sensitive and reports them to the higher authority. San-Sung insinuates that something is not right and comes up with a plan to expose her lies.

They investigate every detail about the happenings, and it turns out that all the dots connect to the woman. Even Chief Yu Dae-Cheon recognizes the woman as a fake idealist. Towards the end, a child from the orphanage under San-Sung’s emphasis gives his verdict, and the woman is caught along with her devotees.

As viewers, we are also delighted to see Park Yeong-Han and his love story with Lee Hye-Ju shown, which entices the audience and K-drama fans. An interesting twist in the next episode, is shown towards the end of episode 4. An epic twist is hinted to fans.

Chief Detective 1958 Episode 5 and 6: Preview

A known localite is murdered. This man happens to be Sung-Chil, who happens to be a grandchild of Grandma Ho. In episode 4, we see him being helped by Park to read and write; he is now mysteriously killed. Another mystery crawls towards Jongnam station. Peeps, be prepared for another exciting mystery to be solved by the team furious.
